HEALING DURING GRIEF

How we feel during grief can often be a confusing time for many people. Many are greeted with post traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, an inability to move on day to day, and to find joy in the simple things. Every experience is different, vast, and sacred.

Sacred Life Transitions sees every event we experience in our lifetime as sacred even the grieving process. Walking through the grief process is a slow walk towards healing and embracing the change that has arrived for us to accept. Each day, week, month that is spent in grief is a new and different experience that each griever goes through and creating a positive space in which to approach that grief with compassion, kindness, and respect is a integral part of the process.

Healing of the mind, body, and spirit is critical and crucial during the grieving process. The process enables the griever to nourish and nurture themselves towards the path of total wellness when we are feeling bombarded with deep and heavy emotions that can create physical and mental distress. Taking care of the self during this time allows one to navigate the journey of grief from a place of awareness and higher consciousness.

HEALING OPTIONS & PACKAGES

In my grieving, I threw the kitchen sink at the process because it took several things not just one to create a level of balance in my day to day life from the shock I suffered from the sudden passing of my husband.  I developed PTSD  right after hearing the news and as time went on I knew it needed a different approach from my aching heart and my aching heart needed a different approach than my spiritual and physical body.  It was a combination of several things that finally got me to a place of feeling whole and complete in my body, mind, and soul. It was a journey and commitment to the whole process of self care that eventually took me that healing place. In fact, I still do all my therapies but not on the weekly schedule I used to in the first year.

​

Each person will have different needs based on their level and depth of grief and their process will have a completely different path than mine.  What's important to remember is to create a healing program that is optimal for your specific needs so the healing that occurs is of the highest potential.

 

Below you will find some modalities that we offer or are recommended for you to explore. We partner with professionals in the community to offer the best possible treatment for you to carry you to a place of balance, healing, and restoration.
